This Kodiak Horse Blanket is made from 1200 Denier and will not fade, tear or rip due to the tight weave of the materials. This has the pleats at the shoulder to allow your horse more freedom and movement without putting stress on the cover itself. The front has a two-buckle closure with another velcro closure underneath for added strength. There is a lining inside of the sheet that is made from soft nylon lining to withstand the severe weather and to protect the horses coat and skin from the waterproof coating that is inside the 1200 Denier shell cover. There are back leg hook ups as well as the cinch hook up with metal hardware. The back legs are poly straps or elastic strappings, your choice. We can do either. Turnout sheets and blankets are sewn with a special heavy duty marine dacron/poly thread that will withstand all outside weather elements and will not rot from the sun nor will the threads break. This Turnout is made here in the US – no imports.
